Oli’s review of Worry Doll and Polita Puffin

We couldn’t be more thrilled to receive our first full length book review!

Thank you do much to Oli for such a thoughtful and well written report.

Our scan quality might not be too clear so we’ve added a typed version too.

Dear Abbey,

Thank you for your book “Worry Doll and Polita Puffin” for me to share I think it’s very funny and you did a very good job with making the ends of sentences rhyme that will help people who would like to read your book to remember - what to say. I also think it’s a nice book for little children but also their freinds too. When their freinds visit they can show them the book and if the freinds just lauagh they can say that it’s serious too. When “Polita Puffin” is crying they can say that’s why it’s sad. It’s sad because the other toys all lauaghed but they don’t know why “Polita Puffin” had to pretend. I think the book would be even better if “Polita Puffin” didn’t run away and told the truth. But it’s good because they are flying, driving a speed boat and being pulled along the sea. All fun things. It’s nice that “Worry Doll”s freind stays behind at the end so that in the morning there’s something nice. Thats a fun thing too.

Overall I really like your book and you and your dad who did the illustrations should be very proud. Well done. I give you 4 and a 3/4 stars but don’t feel bad because its out of 5.
